PRESS RELEASE: Meet the delegates of the 13th ...

This year’s delegates are emerging leaders coming from a wide range of professions – policymakers, analysts, technologists, senior managers, creatives, academics and entrepreneurs. They will come together in Chengdu, China for a 4 day dialogue, bringing with them their experience and expertise from various fields to discuss issues pertinent to the future of the Australia China relationship.

PRESS RELEASE: The 13th Australia-China Youth ...

The Australia China Youth Dialogue is excited to announce that it will host the 13th Australia-China Youth Dialogue in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China, from Friday 17 November to Monday 20 November 2023. 

中澳青年对话非常高兴地宣布，第十三届对话将于2023年11月17日（星期五）至11月20日（星期一）于中国四川省成都市举行。

2022 ACYD Summary Report

The enclosed report provides an overview of the 11th and 12th ACYD events, which took place inHobart, Tasmania, and Perth, Western Australia, in May and November 2022, respectively. Unique tothis year, two dialogues were conducted due to interruptions caused by COVID-19 in 2020 and 2021.

The Australia China Youth Dialogue (ACYD) provides a wonderful opportunity to connect with and be inspired by emerging leaders who are passionate about contributing to the bilateral relationship in a constructive way. The 12th ACYD coincided with historic talks in Bali and the 50th anniversary of the Australia-China relationship, underscoring the importance of the ACYD mission to promote frequent and meaningful dialogue and cross-cultural exchange. It is an honour to be joining the ACYD alumni network and I encourage those with an interest in the Australia-China relationship to apply.

2019 ACYD

ACYD 2019 to be held in Shanghai from 20th to 23rd September

Jade Little, Executive Director said “the ACYD is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and we will use this opportunity to reflect not just on the ACYD itself, but also on the development of the Australia-China relationship over the years”.

“We expect to deliver an engaging Dialogue with many contributions from our alumni cohort, which is set to hit 300 this year.”

“We have an overarching theme of technology, so during the four-day conference we will be considering this theme when approaching each topic during the Dialogue”, Ms. Little said.
